Charities
Priory of Philadelphia held a fundraiser summer social for the Iraqi Christian Relief Council which serves persecuted Assyrians Christians in Iraq and the Middle East through emergency humanitarian relief, such as food distribution and shelter, prayer support and advocacy.
The Priory of Philadelphia has also supported these charities:
- Foundation for Relief and Reconciliation in the Middle East
- The Ramsey Educational Development Institute
- The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia
- The Allentown Meals on Wheels
- The Children's Jubilee Fund (Philadelphia)
- Haitian Association for Human Development
Finally, a primary charitable mission of SMOTJʼs Priories is to support Christians at risk, especially in the Holy Land through an annual Jerusalem mite. For over a decade, extremists have targeted the Christian community there for persecution, and worse, in a manner unlike anything seen in the region for about 150 years.
